DO IN AND MERIDIAN STRETCHING SEMINAR

DO- opening the meridians.

IN- stretch the organs to achieve this opening.

Eastern medicine has many healing methods based on different principles and all of them maintaining physical and spiritual health.

The -DO IN developed in Japan and it's based on the principles of Chinese medicine. This practice is combined with breathing and stretching movements with which we can feel the tension in the body, enabling the understanding and the awareness of the origins of mental and physical symptoms that we suffer from.

Sometimes it is thought that a physical problem is related only to a part where it is, but in fact, the problem exists in the life process of the entire body. Our bodies can keep healthy as long as each internal organ performs its function in harmony, and its qi is flowing through meridians smoothly and regularly. The disease is caused when there is a stagnation of qi somewhere along these meridians.

Eastern traditional exercises focus on flexibility and balance than on power. The approach is that the disease can be prevented by increasing the flow of qi in the meridians which are the external expression of internal organs. Although actions traction and movement are external, there is a great importance to the breathing which creates an internal dynamic that reinforces the function of internal organs through the stress relief and relaxation.

The purpose of the DO-IN is to cure illness and restore health, to make people enjoy themselves with a new experience and constant practice that add changes every time. The practice is designed for people who want to see clear signs of progress in their physical and mental way of finding meaning in their lives
